Our first time eating at this place, we are the hispanic family with 3 kids and a dog our day started at a water park the kids wanted to go eat at a restaurant. We were looking for pet friendly restaurants most of them were full and we called this place there was a spot for us out in the patio! When we arrived at the restaurant was very nice I have to admit for a second I doubted whether to go in or just go home because we weren’t dressed nicely since we were coming from a waterpark! but we decided to go in on our way to the patio a few servers gave us the look they will understand what I am talking about! Our server and the female manager were amazing, and friendly the food 10/10 I want to thank our server who at all times took great care of us never discriminated us for our appearance or nationality our bill was $103 we tip $50
We loved it here. We wanted to try everything from the menu. Our food all tasted good. Prices were affordable. The building itself had a nice appearance. Staff was very nice. Overall was wowed by how good it was.

Had the Jambalaya. It was PERFECT! Just enough spice to taste excellent, but not enough that I break out in a sweat (which happens quite easily). Service was superb, with wonderful atmosphere. We live 2 hours away, but stop often when we are travelling down U.S. 31. Great place!
Everything was great from start to finish. Our server was very personable and helpful with menu items. Food was prepared as ordered and was delicious. Dessert was also delicious. A very nice, but casual atmosphere and at reasonable prices!
This was a great place for ten of us to celebrate our two college graduates. Everyone’s meal was great tasting and cooked as expected. The server we had was awesome! The front desk staff worked hard to get us seated when they realized the original plan for seating us wasn’t going to work (the party before us was lingering and ended up staying a half hour after we were seated.). We will definitely be back and definitely recommend Grindstone to others. Thank you for making it a great evening!
We chose to sit outdoors and the atmosphere of the Grindstone on the Monon was delightful! We’d never dined at this restaurant so not sure what to expect. We started with the fried green tomatoes which were outstanding! My husband ordered the meatloaf and said he’d definitely order is again. I chose the chicken tenders and they were equally tasty. We’ll be back!

We had a fabulous lunch at Grindstone! It was a beautiful day so we sat outside in their cute outdoor area. Alex was our waitress and she was awesome! Her service was 20/10 - kind, helpful, efficient, all the things! Food was delicious too! Will definitely be back!
Had a great experience from start to finish. From the moment I called in my takeout order to the moment I picked it up, the service was thoughtful and attentive. I had a large order, and they even opened the door for me when I was leaving — a small gesture that made a big impression. We ordered the Indiana Pork Tenderloin, two Kobe Burgers, Chicken Marsala, and buffalo wings as an appetizer. Everything was packaged securely in high-quality containers (not the typical foam), which I appreciated. The food was still warm when we arrived home, and everyone was genuinely happy with their meals. The thoughtfulness, quality, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We’ll definitely be returning.
